The public is invited to attend the Waimea Arts Council newest show, the 36th Annual Founders Juried Art Show at the Firehouse Gallery which runs through Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020.
This popular annual juried art show, sponsored by the Waimea Arts Council, features local artist’s works selected by this year’s Judges, Kathleen Jaeger and Bill Jaeger who awarded Cash prizes for 1st Place: Kathy Sprinkle, “Anna’s Cow”, 2nd Place: Matthew Bennett, “Hula Dancers in a Line”, 3rd Place: J. Jay West, “Standing Still, duo”, and Honorable Mentions: Barbara Schaefer, “Jupiter and Wiliwili”, and Cathy Cordry, “Eucalyptus Cathedral”.
Many of the artists selected for this popular show will be at the gallery on open days to meet and greet visitors. Gallery hours are Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11 am – 3 pm. Artists donate a percentage of all sales to support the Waimea Arts Council.
