The Waimea Arts Council invites island artists to submit artwork that explores the universal themes of guidance and protection. We seek works that delve into cultural heritage, personal experiences and imaginative realms to create works that resonate with these fundamental human experiences. Whether you draw from personal experience or spiritual practices, we seek art that honors the profound impact of guides and protectors in our lives. Show us how these themes inspire your creativity and provide a sense of safety, direction and connection.
Native Hawaiian artists whose works showcase spiritual guides and protectors are strongly encouraged to submit.
