The Waimea Arts Council is honored to present Guides and Protectors, an exhibition and sale that explores the universal themes of guidance and protection. The exhibiting artists’ works delve into cultural heritage, personal experiences, and imaginative realms by creating original artwork that resonate with these fundamental human experiences. Whether drawn from personal experience or spiritual practices, the artists honor guides and protectors’ profound impact on our lives. This unique theme provides a sense of safety, direction, and connection.
Come to the Open House reception on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 3 p.m., to meet the artists and enjoy refreshments.
The Firehouse Gallery’s regular hours are Thursday through Sunday from 11:00 to 3:00 and whenever flags are flying. For more information, call 808-887-1052.
