Thelma Parker Memorial Library and the Waimea Arts Council are very excited to host free First Saturday Community Art Classes. The first class is Saturday, April 1 from 10am to noon at Thelma Parker Memorial Library in Waimea.
Artist and WAC member Lorrie Taylor will launch this program with Watercolor Coral Reef. Beginning painters ages 6+ will have fun learning watercolor basics and beginner techniques as they get hands-on experience painting coral reef fish.
Classes will be held in the library meeting room, with all supplies provided by the Waimea Arts Council. Class size is limited to 25 people and advance registration at the library is required for each class. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. This is an all ages class.
