This category is designed for artists who wish to sell their work in the Firehouse Gallery on an ongoing basis. You can participate in all gallery art shows and ongoing displays in the side and back galleries. As an artist of WAC:
- You are eligible to show in all themed and member shows in the main gallery in accordance with the rules set forth for each show.
- You are eligible to show matted prints or matted originals and cards or card packs in the gallery*
- You are eligible to show jewelry / adornments (such as necklaces, earrings, bracelets, lei, scarves, etc.)*
- You eligible for small group or solo shows in the back gallery (see below for details).
- You are eligible to participate in the Gallery of Arts display in the Firehouse Gallery (free), and/or be listed on the WAC website (one-time $25 set up fee). (See the membership/member links for the application)
- You are eligible for a solo or group show in the main gallery after one year of active gallery participating membership.
- As a participating artist you must contribute 50% to 20% of any sales to WAC based on monthly volunteer hours. To achieve the 20% donation level, at least 4 hours must be served as a gallery docent. Hours are averaged over a 3 month period. See the volunteer guidelines in the Policies and Procedures.
- *The Gallery Committee may limit artwork displayed if space becomes a concern. Priority will be given to those who volunteer.
Memberships expire on September 30 of each year and you must renew your membership before that date.
